NBAA sells stake in EBACE to EBAA

The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announced that EBAA has purchased NBAA's interest in the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE). With the purchase, EBAA has become the sole producer of all future editions of EBACE, which has been held yearly at the Palexpo convention center at Geneva International Airport in Switzerland since 2001.

In its statement, EBAA did not say whether it intends to make any changes to the format of the EBACE event. Geneva as host city had come under criticism in recent years from both exhibitors and delegates for its high costs and major OEMs Gulfstream and Bombardier skipped the 2024 show. The statement of NBAA indicated that its withdrawal as a partner in the EBACE show will not compromise its working relationship with EBAA. “We look forward to continuing that relationship as we work together in all aspects of business aviation, including safety, sustainability, innovation, workforce development, and security,” said NBAA president and CEO Ed Bolen.
