BHS Aviation Group consolidates flight operations under a unified German AOC

BHS Aviation Group has successfully transferred its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) for commercial fixed-wing operations from Switzerland to Germany. As a result, both fixed-wing flight operations and helicopter operations will in future be conducted under German regulatory oversight. The Air Operator Certificate is the key regulatory requirement for the commercial transport of passengers and cargo in aviation. As part of the approval process conducted by the German Federal Aviation Office (Luftfahrt-Bundesamt), BHS Aviation demonstrated, among other things, its professional expertise, technical and organizational capabilities, and the company’s financial stability. By consolidating its AOCs in Germany, BHS Aviation Group is taking an important strategic step in the further development of its corporate structure. The objective is to bundle regulatory responsibilities, further harmonize internal processes, and leverage existing expertise more effectively on a unified operational basis. The next phase of development will focus on the structured expansion of organizational, personnel, and digital foundations.

High-Speed Internet Now Available on PC-24 Super Versatile Jet

Pilatus has announced the introduction of Gogo Galileo as a factory-installed connectivity option for the PC-24, delivering global, high-speed broadband to the world’s first and only Super Versatile Jet. The system is set to enter service, bringing fast, low-latency connectivity to owners wherever they fly. The system is certified by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The new connectivity solution built on the OneWeb Low Earth Orbit (LEO) network enables passengers to stay seamlessly connected in flight, supporting internet access at altitude. This latest upgrade transforms the PC-24 cabin into a fully functional office and entertainment space, meeting the growing demand for uninterrupted productivity and streaming while traveling. The position and shape of the antenna fairings were chosen to minimize drag and any impact on the aircraft’s aerodynamic performance. The resulting design has a negligible effect on the Pilatus PC-24’s take-off performance, climb rate, or speed, with performance remaining consistently excellent. The antenna has also been engineered to prevent unwanted noise, with careful attention to weight and balance to avoid any adverse effects, delivering an integrated solution typical of OEM-level design.

Deutsche Bank invests in Sustainable Aviation Fuel with Lufthansa Group

As part of its strategy to reduce the climate impact of business travel, Deutsche Bank is investing in the deployment of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in air transport with the Lufthansa Group. The jointly agreed volume of approximately 1,600 metric tonnes of SAF enables an estimated emissions saving of around 5,500 metric tonnes of CO₂. This is equivalent to the CO₂ emissions of approximately 520 flights between Frankfurt and London operated by an Airbus A320neo. The agreement builds on the growing partnership between the two companies: since October 2025, Deutsche Bank has been issuing the Lufthansa Miles & More Credit Card. In the area of sustainability, both partners aim to deepen their collaboration further – with the goal of advancing the sustainable transformation and enhancing the credibility and acceptance of climate protection solutions.
